RS has contracts for longstanding and perspective projects

President of RS Milorad Dodik said that RS has contracted projects for implementation in the fields of road infrastructure, energy sector and health sector worth 2.8 billion EUR, which are longstanding and perspective projects.

He stressed that the dynamics of fulfilling the formal and other requirements for ensuring these investments must be accelerated, and the key issue is to ensure that the domestic real sector is involved in these investments.

”We are ready to support our companies where ever possible. If they can’t win international tenders, then we must ensure that they win domestic ones”, said Dodik.

Dodik believes that it is necessary that the business community works together in order to help the Government to maintain the level of business activity in RS.

”Without a doubt, we must develop new capacities of Investment-Development Bank. There is a room for that, and it is possible to ensure that IDB gives back the money it gained from abroad to the economy of RS”, said Dodik during the reception for the businessmen of RS, which was organized because of the celebration of 9 January- The Day of RS and the Patron Saint’s Day of RS- The Holy Protomartyr Stephen the Archdeacon.
