After the chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Sefik Dzaferovic said that there were open threats from the Russian side that BiH would experience consequences if it continued on NATO’s path, his views were commented on by the Russian Embassy.

According to the Embassy of the Russian Federation in BiH, Russian attitudes and clarification of the principles of European security are not a threat.

Namely, they mentioned that in recent years, NATO has turned into an aggressive organization whose main target is Russia.

“The membership of any country in the Alliance implies absolute support for NATO’s military and political goals, ie anti-Russian steps, which means that the actions of each member state within the Alliance are considered directed against Russia,” the Russian Embassy in BiH said.

They stressed that due to Russia’s national security, they are forced to take defensive measures and that each state has the right to act sovereignly in accordance with its own foreign policy priorities, in the manner regulated by its national law.

“Emphasizing Russia’s positions and clarifying the principles of European security are not a threat, as some politicians in BiH say,” the Russian embassy said, Klix.ba writes.

“The Issue of State Property can only be resolved by Passing a law in PSBiH”
