Russian Foreign Minister official Visit starts on Friday

Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH Igor Crnadak talked earlier with Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov over the telephone on the occasion of postponing the visit of Minister Lavrov to Sarajevo and Banja Luka that happened due to a sudden change in the agenda of Minister Lavrov.

Minister Lavrov and Minister Crnadak agreed on September 21 as the new date for Minister Lavrov’s visit, as announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH.

During their conversation, Minister Crnadak expressed his satisfaction with the upcoming visit of Minister Lavrov, and he noted the importance of good relations with the Russian Federation, as well as the visit of Minister Lavrov to Banja Luka, where he will attend the ceremony of laying the foundation stone for the construction of the Russian-Serbian cultural center.

He will first meet with members of the BiH Presidency, and then with BiH Minister of Foreign Affairs Igor Crnadak. In Banja Luka, the head of Russian diplomacy will arrive around 3:00 p.m., he will visit the site where the Serbian-Russian temple will be built, followed by a meeting with RS President Milorad Dodik, and RS Prime Minister Zeljka Cvijanovic.
