Ryanair cancels several Connections from Banja Luka

In the summer of 2026, Ryanair will reduce operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia, mainly due to the reallocation of capacity towards markets with higher seasonal demand, such as Croatia.

Six weekly departures will be canceled in Banja Luka, while flights to Vienna, Memmingen and Baden-Baden will be reduced to two weekly rotations.

Two weekly flights to Niš are canceled – one each to Vienna and Malta.

The company also decided to cancel two routes between Ireland and Lithuania. From April, it will no longer fly from Belfast to Kaunas or from Dublin to Palanga, and the Vilnius-Stockholm line is also suspended.

Ryanair states that it is redirecting capacities to airports with lower costs in Croatia, Morocco, Italy, Sweden and Albania, where airport taxes and environmental taxes are lower.

Some of the canceled routes were taken over by competing airlines, among them Vueling, Binter, Iberia and Wizz Air, which should alleviate the consequences for passengers.
