Stories could be heard past days about the interest of Barcelona in Miralem Pjanić, but the sports director of Roma Walter Sabatini eliminated any possibility of selling the midfielder of Roma.
“We are proud to know that a club like Barcelona is interested in Pjanić and Florenzi, but neither one of them will leave Roma,” Sabatini said, and added:
“We are in good financial situation and we do not need money. We want to progress from year to year and keep the best players”.
This season, Pjanić scored eight goals in Roma shirt and he is under contract with this club until 2017.
