The nonprofit organization of altruists ‘Svjetlo’ is organizing for the fifth year in a row a sales exhibition ‘Od darova, slađe je samo darivanje 5′ (other than gifts, giving is sweeter), showing the unique works of young people with disabilities, resulting in the ‘ArT LiNe’ workshop. The exhibition will be held from 27 to 29 December from 10:00 to 21:00 at MC-Mercator.
The revenue from the sale of the works from the ‘ArT LiNe’ workshop will be given to the participants for the purchase of materials for the purpose of continuing and sustaining the creative workshops, and 1/3 of the revenue will be given for the restoration of the painting ‘portrait of national heroes’ from the Historical Museum.
This is a total of 15 exhibitions of handmade works of young people with disabilities, which has been done continuously since 2012. There will be decorative boxes made of ceramics, silk scarves, paintings on glass, decorative frames, cups, candle holders, scented soaps, scented candles, jewelry boxes, magnets, necklaces, greeting cards, hand-painted figures and eco shopping bags.
