Ramiz Salkic in Sandzak radioglasdrine.comThe Vice-President of Republika Srpska Ramiz Salkic believes it is important that B&H and Serbia develop quality relationships with full respect for the identity, integrity, and sovereignty of both countries.

“The path towards the EU which Serbia and B&H, but also Montenegro, are taking, will open much better possiblities of cross-border cooperation”, said Salkic in Novi Pazar (Serbia) during the meeting with the political representatives of Bosniaks, high religious officials of the Islamic Community, and  the representatives of educational institutions in this city.

Salkic said it especially refers to the cross-border region of Sandzak, which is a unique culturological area at which Bosniaks are the majority population.

Salkic also spoke with the President of the Bosniak National Council Sulejman Ugljanin on the improvement of the concept of cooperation between Bosniak institutions from B&H and the institutions and organizations of Bosniaks in Sandzak.

Salkic has been staying in Sandzak for the past two days, it was announced from the Cabinet of the Vice-President of Republika Srpska.
