Student Sara Stajčić from Banja Luka enrolled this year at the Faculty of Political Sciences at the US University of Harvard and received a scholarship, announced the adviser for education at the Advisory Center for Education in the USA Sonja Pržulj.
After a presentation on academic and specialized programs, supported by the US government, as well as study programs in the US for students from B&H, which was held in the American Corner in Banja Luka, Pržulj told journalists that currently 364 students from B&H are currently studying in the US.
She said that students from B&H have to pass the application process, which lasts a minimum of one year, in order to enroll in college and receive scholarships in the US.
‘’The conditions for admission to colleges in the US are, in addition to good English skills, motivation, following instructions from the adviser, regularly taking standardized tests, study material’’, explained Pržulj.
The Attache for Culture and Education of the US Embassy to B&H Erik Catalfamo told journalists that the US has very good cooperation and student exchange with B&H.
‘’We are interested in an exchange of students in order to increase the number of students from B&H to the US, who want to study political science and natural sciences.
