The first month of the 2024 summer season began on a strong note for Sarajevo Airport as it welcomed 133.822 passengers through its terminal, representing an increase of a notable 49.4% on the same month last year, as well as an improvement of 41.3% on its previous best April in 2022. During the January – April period, the airport handled 369.314 passengers, up 30.1% on the same period last year. During April, Sarajevo Airport saw the introduction of five new routes by Ryanair, as well as the addition of a new Izmir service by SunExpress, Ex Yu Aviation writes.
