A Memorandum of Understanding was signed, opening a new chapter of friendship and future cooperation between Sarajevo and Tirana.
This memorandum was signed as part of a meeting between the mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karić, and the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.
“The first official meeting took place in the discussion about strengthening fraternal ties through joint initiatives and concrete projects,” said Karić.
Karić is on an official visit to Tirana, where she is participating in the Summit of the Network of Balkan Cities B40.
As of today, the City of Sarajevo officially takes over the chairmanship of the Network, after Istanbul, Athens and Tirana, announced the Public Relations Department of the City of Sarajevo.
