Sarajevo Energy Forum Kicks Off, Addressing Regional Energy Challenges

This year’s third edition of the Sarajevo Energy Forum – SEF 2025 will be held today and tomorrow, and the focus will be on the most current topics and innovations in the field of energy.

The fair will bring together exhibitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the region, the European Union and Turkey, providing a platform for presenting the best technologies and products.

Sarajevo Energy Forum – SEF 2025 has established itself as a prestigious gathering and an indispensable platform for discussions on the energy transition in the region, according to the organizers.

The focus of this year’s edition of the Forum will be on the most current topics and innovations in the field of energy: Energy storage: Grid stability and revenue growth; Application of AI in energy: Production, consumption prediction and cost management; Agrosolars: Synergy of agriculture and electricity generation; CBAM at the door: How to prepare the economy for export.

The following topics will also be discussed: Preparing the economy and secure purchase agreements; Project financing: ESG standards, funds and best practices; Just Transition: The Potential of Solar, Wind, Biomass and Green Hydrogen; Energy Efficiency and Building Renovation: Key Steps towards Decarbonization.

The Forum brings together leading experts, companies, startups, students and representatives of domestic and international institutions.

Sarajevo Energy Forum (SEF) 2025 is being implemented with the support of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), UNDP and the Association of Renewable Energy Sources of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

For the first time, SEF is organizing the Energy and Renewable Energy Exhibitors Fair, and its partner is the world’s leading fair Solarex Istanbul, whose representatives will be special guests, Fena writes.
