The Police Administration of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs of Canton Sarajevo (CS) published a bulletin from New Year’s Eve listing traffic violations. There were fewer of them than usual.

Police officers, while carrying out regular traffic control measures, issued 480 misdemeanor tickets, which is a significantly lower number compared to, for example, the last weekend of this year (Friday and Saturday), when there were 1.447 violations on Friday and 497 on Saturday.

Two days ago, seven drivers were excluded from traffic for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. This is also a lower number than on Saturday, when there were as many as 70 such cases.

Five drivers were excluded from traffic because they had not acquired the right to operate a motor vehicle, three for driving during the period of a protective measure banning them from driving motor vehicles, one for driving under the influence of drugs, and two due to the expiration of the vehicle registration certificate.
