tourists-sarajevo-new-yearDay before the celebration of New Year, the capital of BiH was flooded with tourists. Many cars with foreign license plates are on the streets of Sarajevo and tourists visit the city landmarks accompanied by guides.

Booking.com shows that there are almost no free beds in Sarajevo and, according to tourist agencies, at least 80.000 overnight stays are expected.

Tourists are visiting the old town and enjoying the hospitality of cafes in Sarajevo. New Year holidays brought happy times to the businessmen, especially craftsmen whose products are very appealing to tourists.

Majority of tourists came from the countries of the region, as well as from Europe. Majority of them will enter the New Year at the concert of Dino Merlin, who will perform at a public celebration on the Square of BiH.

Catering facilities also have a varied offer and everyone will be able to find some fun for themselves.

The holiday magic is complete with decorations and trees placed all around the city.

Public celebration at the Square of BiH in Sarajevo begins at 9 pm.
