The capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), this August also offers a series of events, and in the next 10 days, Sarajevo will be a place of great nightlife as well.

Namely, already two days ago, starting at 8 p.m. in Hastahana Park, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Public Institution Center for Culture and Youth of the Municipality of Centar Sarajevo, a concert by Neno Belan & Fiumens was held. Entrance to the concert was free.

In the very heart of Sarajevo, at Alija Izetbegovic Square, two days ago, there was also Summertime Madness, which was opened by Jelena Rozga, and from August 15th to 23rd, numerous performers will appear, among them Sasa Kovacevic and Pedja Jovanovic.

One of the must-visit locations for a good night out in Sarajevo is also Skenderija, where the Heineken Summer Lounge will be held – one of the most attractive places for evening relaxation with music.

On Thursday, a wine event called Summer Wine Lounge is planned, and after that, in the following days, the square will turn into a “dance floor” for all lovers of urban nightlife.

Also, in the immediate vicinity, near the Trade Union Hall, a new festival will be held – the Central Pub Fest, which promises unforgettable nights with DJ sets, live performances, and a top open-air atmosphere from August 15th to 22nd.

On the first night, rapper Sajfer opened, followed by performances by well-known DJs, and on the last night of this music story, rapper Cunami brought it to a close.

Skenderija “hid” another event that took place on August 15th in the Amphitheater of the Youth Center. It was a concert by the experimental music collective Machine, which presented their new album entitled Folklore in Sarajevo.

The Sloga Club will host a great warm-up party and will also welcome the regional music star Relja Popovic, as well as Rock Ko Fol, a band known for gigs that promise an excellent bash.

But, if you want to spend a somewhat different night and escape the city crowds, you definitely should not miss the third edition of the Sarajevo Sevdah Soiree festival.

The festival begins on August 16th and offers a unique opportunity to experience the magic of sevdah under the stars, where in the coming days Hari Mata Hari, Naida Kraljic, Rafid Subasic, Trio Ved, Maja Milinkovic, as well as Tonci Huljic and the band Madre Badessa, will perform.

As the icing on the cake, the last night of the Festival, on the balcony of Eternal Flame, will be closed by the world-famous DJ Layla Benitez, whose performance is expected to attract up to 35.000 people, Klix.ba writes.
