Sarajevo International Airport Records 300.000 Passengers

aerodrom sarajevoSarajevo international airport has been operating successfully for years, and the trend of successful business continued in 2013.

In the report for the first half of the current year, growth was marked in all profit centers (cargo, trade, hospitality, complimentary services), and the most significant increase was recorded in primary activities-passenger handling and aircraft, confirmed to Fena the expert assistant for public relations of Sarajevo international airport Sabina Džaferbegović.

In the first six months of this year, there was 303.829 passengers, which is 15 percent more than in comparison to the same period last year.

The number of airline operations reached a number of 2.603, which is two percent more than in comparison to the same period last year.

During the summer season, the Sarajevo airport has 10 regular airline companies, among which 3 are low-budget, and a large number of charters, which take passengers to some of the most attractive locations.
