The capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo, is among the finalists of this year’s “National Geographic Travel” selection for the category “Best in the world 2025 as chosen by readers”.

“National Geographic Travel” invited its followers on Instagram to vote for one of the five destinations they would travel to in 2025, and in addition to Sarajevo, Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam), New Orleans (USA), Bodrum (Turkey) and Cuzco (Peru) are also on the list.

“Whether you walk the labyrinthine streets to find bazaars, mosques and basement bars or explore its Olympic mountains, Sarajevo’s rich history stretches beyond the shadows of the 20th century,” the description reads.

“National Geographic Travel” invites readers to vote in the comments until Thursday, October 17, to decide which destination will be crowned the best of 2025 by readers’ choice, AA writes.
