Jajce: Tourist Info Center opened

jajce3On Saturday, within the second fair of tourism and eco products STEP Jajce 2015, the newly built Tourist Information Center will be officially opened.

In order to enhance tourism capacities, the Info Center will promote the tourist offer of Jajce Municipality and to organize seminars and workshops for workers in the sector of tourism.

A souvenir shop will be opened in cooperation with unemployed women and associations of citizens with special needs, as part of a fully energy efficient Info Centre.

The building construction is supported by the Integrated Local Development Project (ILDP), which represents a joint initiative of the Government of Switzerland and UNDP in B&H, and the River Basin Environment Protection and Tourism Development Programme, which is funded by the Government of Japan, UNDP and other donors.

The total project value amounted to 162.000 BAM, taking into the consideration that the Municipality of Jajce participates with 90.000 BAM, the Government of Switzerland via the ILDP with 42,000 BAM and the Government of Japan via the Environment Protection and Tourism Development Programme with 30,000 BAM, as announced from the Municipality of Jajce.
