Sarajevo Mayor’s Advisors will not receive Compensation, over 120,000 BAM will be saved

The mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karic, has decided that she will not have advisors who receive compensation for their work.

According to her, the Statute envisages the City Council, in which she can appoint people who will help her in her work.

”I have adopted the Rules of Procedure and I can proudly say that I have appointed external members of the council who will work without compensation,” wrote Karic on her official Twitter profile.

She points out that experts from various fields are ready to work completely free of charge for the benefit of the city.

That is another additional motive to fight for progress. The savings for the City on the work of the council during four years amounts to around 120,000.00 BAM, she concluded.
