Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra delighted the Public in Qatar

Katara – the Cultural Village in co-operation with the embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Qatar organized Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra concert in the presence of the Prime Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fadil Novalic; Katara general manager Khalid bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti, Bosnian ambassador to Qatar Bisera Turkovic and a number of ministers, ambassadors and members of the diplomatic corps in the State.

Katara’s general manager commended the fruitful cultural co-operation which contributes to promoting constructive cultural communication and achieving the message of Katara which seeks to extend bridges of communication between peoples.

He added that the event represented an opportunity to learn about an aspect of the cultural and civilizational heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ambassador Turkovic praised the co-operation with Katara, noting the significance of Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra to the Bosnian people for its rich musical history.

The ambassador highlighted the Qatari-Bosnian relations which are witnessing a remarkable development at all levels, especially in the cultural field which plays an important role in bringing people together.
