Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra to perform in Vienna

Orkestar_sarajevske_filharmonije_288215_20150908_43222605_235500Minister of Civil Affairs of BiH Adil Osmanović and Ambassador of Austria to BiH Martin Pamer talked about cooperation in the field of culture, especially activities being organized within the year of culture of BiH and Austria.

Ambassador Pamer informed the Minister Osmanović that an international high-profile conference titled “Country and religions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Austria: legal framework of Islam in the European context” will be held on September 28 and 29. He also emphasized that the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra will perform in Vienna on November 29, which is another opportunity for improvement of cultural cooperation of BiH and Austria.

Minister Osmanović pointed out the full support of the Ministry for all planned events, as well as for the establishment of the best possible cooperation between the two countries in the field of culture.

At the meeting, Osmanović and Pamer also considered opportunity for establishment of cooperation between museum institutions from BiH and Austria and once again pointed to the need for urgent solving of the status of the National Museum of BiH.
