Sarajevo Police successfully implemented Police Operation “Boomerang”

During the searches that were carried out at several locations in the Sarajevo Canton, by order of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the police officers of the MIA Police Administration of the Sarajevo Canton carried out the “Boomerang” operation.

The action was carried out with the aim of documenting the criminal offenses “Organized crime” in connection with “Illicit traffic in narcotic drugs”, then “Illicit traffic in weapons and military equipment, and military equipment products” and “Money laundering”, prescribed by the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, for which suspects A. A. and A. M. from Sarajevo.

During the operation, they temporarily confiscated five expensive motor vehicles (Mercedes G class, Audi A6, Range Rover, BMW, Nissan Qashqai), four motorcycles, a large amount of money, mobile phones, laptops, portable devices, as well as documents on the transfer of movable and immovable property , monetary transactions, and other items that can serve as evidence for the criminogenic activities of the aforementioned persons.

Police officers of the CSMIA Police Administration under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina continue their activities to clarify and document the committed criminal acts.
