Sarajevo records New Cases of Coronavirus

In the past 24 hours, 20 new cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed in the Sarajevo Canton, 632 people were tested, and 15 citizens recovered from the Covid-19 infection. One person died as a result of this infection.

Currently, 25 patients are being treated at the hospital, 13 at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, and at the General Hospital “Prim.dr. Abdulah Nakas ”12.

Out of the total number of hospitalized, 18 patients have an acute infection, and seven are cared for due to post-Covid complications or are under observation.

One patient is on a respirator, and two use oxygen support to breathe oxygen above 15 liters per minute.

Today, Sarajevo Canton records 97 active cases of Covid-19 infection. There are currently 752 people in self-isolation. Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 52,946 people infected with coronavirus and 51,559 cured have been registered in Sarajevo Canton.

According to the data of the Public Health Institute of CS, in the past seven days the average number of infected is 14, while the weekly incidence, ie the number of patients per 100,000 inhabitants, is 23.
