The entrepreneurial, innovation and creative center Networks, the organizer of the Sarajevo Unlimited 2017 forum, in cooperation with their partner the European Youth Olympic Festival “EYOF Sarajevo / East Sarajevo 2019” is organizing a competition for young creators – Ideathon for making a mascot.
EYOF (European Youth Olympic Festival) is the largest sports festival for young athletes between 14 and 18 years of age in Europe. EYOF 2019 will include 8 sports: alpine skiing, biathlon, Nordic skiing, snowboard, skating, speed skating, hockey, and carling.
In the period from October 9 – 11, in premises of Networks, everyone dealing with graphic design, architecture, photography, painting, and all creators who are thinking outside of the established frames will be working on design ideas and they will get the opportunity to give the best idea for the mascot, which will be the mascot of one of the biggest youth competitions in Europe. The jury will choose a total of three conceptual solutions, and then the audience will vote for one conceptual solution through the social networks. Members of the Coordination Committee of the European Olympic Committee will be included in the selection of mascots.
All interested creators can apply via an online application before October 4, 2017. After the selection, all participants will be notified by an e-mail on October 6, 2017.
Sarajevo Unlimited is a two-day conference that gathers relevant institutions, companies, organizations, startups, and investors, with the aim to promote business innovations, innovative management and the use of resources of startup companies. This year, it will take place from November 2 to 4, 2017. EYOF 2019 will promote its content during the forum and they will publicly present the mascot for the first time.
Sarajevo Unlimited promotes talents and innovative solutions as a profitable addition to existing business ideas and it connects potential partners among companies and investors. The ultimate aim is the regional promotion of BiH as a desirable destination for international investments, which offers prospective start-ups, successful business stories and young talents. The ultimate aim is that Sarajevo Unlimited results in new opportunities for employment, new investments and better opportunities for the economy of BiH.
The award for the winning team is 1,500 BAM, tickets for Sarajevo Unlimited and many other surprises. Awards from sponsors will be provided for the second and third place.
