The first public presentation of domestically produced unmanned aerial vehicles attracted the greatest attention of visitors and professional public at the first BiH international fair of dedicated and defense industry “Balkan Shield – Defense Industry Expo & Summit 2026”.
These are four models of drones developed by the Public Institution Center for Advanced Technologies (CNT) Sarajevo, which was evaluated at the fair as an important step for technological sovereignty and the further development of domestic dedicated industry.
The largest presented model is characterized by a wingspan of 5.4 meters (5,400 mm), a drive motor with a power of 16 kW and a payload of 30 kilograms. With a standard fuel tank, this aircraft can spend up to 12 hours in the air.
CNT–10Q401, a high-performance quadcopter equipped with four motors, with a diagonal distance between the motors of 851 mm. It has a maximum thrust of 150 N and a maximum take-off mass of 8 kg. The flight time with a standard battery is up to 30 minutes, the range of the radio connection is 10 kilometers, while the video signal is transmitted in digital Full HD resolution.
CNT–10PLA01, an unmanned aerial vehicle recognizable by its extremely light construction made of PLA material and high strength-to-mass ratio, thanks to precisely 3D printed components. The maximum take-off weight is 600 grams, and the flight time is 10 minutes.
The production of these drones is fast, efficient and economically extremely profitable, which opens up new perspectives for the development of modern technologies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to CNT.
