Sarajevo War Theatre SARTR: Play ‘Hekuba’

HekubaThe public of SARTR will have the chance to watch the play ‘Hekuba’ on Monday, 24 February at 20:00. This is a play from Greece, and which is on the program of the Sarajevska Zima.

‘Hekuba’ is a multi-cultural musical performance based on Euripedes Hecuba, observed with the eyes of an artist and using ancient tragedy as the basis, the performance in search for an answer to the suffering that stems from fear of the other, a foreigner, immigrant, and represents the need for a new identity and based on affiliation with the other.

The director is Enke Fezollari, who is also in charge of the lighting.
