Sarajevogas announced today that Energoinvest’s offer to purchase additional quantities of natural gas, which arrived on the e-mail of their director, clearly emphasizes the purchase of additional quantities of natural gas, but at four times the current price set by the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina 30 December 2021 for distribution companies in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

They point out that according to the same Agreement in previous years, Sarajevogas had no restrictions on daily consumption, ie there was a possibility of daily renomination of gas quantities, which is not possible at this time.

They also add that Energoinvest has currently limited the supply to 1,200,000 Sm3 of natural gas for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, or 950,000 Sm3 for the daily needs of KJKP Sarajevogas, at the wholesale price of natural gas set by the Federation Government at its session on December 30, 2021.

They emphasize that on January 22, 2022, 50,000 Sm3 less than the ordered daily quantities were delivered to Sarajevogas, on January 23, 2022, 44,000 Sm3 less, and on January 24, 2022, even 130,000 Sm3 less.

“The public must also be aware of the fact that yesterday and today, January 24 and 25, 2022, Arcelor Mittal was allowed to consume additional quantities of gas twice as much as planned, at the current price set by the Government of the Federation of BiH, while the market price offers only KJKP Sarajevogas and KJKP Toplane-Sarajevo “, it was announced from Sarajevogas.
