The delegation of the Development Department of the Halal market of the Malaysian State Sarawak, which manages the largest world-wide halal park “Tanjung Manis Halal Hub”, announced their arrival and participation at the SAHAF 2013 and showed a huge interest for the Halal potential of South East Europe.
Sahaf-Sarajevo Halal Fair and Forum 2013 will be held from 15-17 May in the Sarajevo Center Skenderija from 10:00-17:00.
Sarawak is one of the biggest Malaysian states located on the Borneo, the third largest island in the world. This Malaysian state is known for its significant investment in the fast-growing halal industry.
The Development Department of the Halal market at the office of the Chief Minister of the government of Sarawak has a team of experts responsible for finding optimal solutions in utilizing the potential of the halal industry. The Malaysian delegation expressed interest to promote the halal trade and investment flow between South East Europe and South East Asia.
Through the Sahaf 2013 conference and fair program, Halal certificates and services will be promoted, and to create business opportunities for participating companies. The participation of foreign delegations is the foundation for future cooperation of the regional halal industry with global halal markets.
