The head of the EU Delegation in our country, Johann Sattler, handed the Minister of Security of BiH, Nenad Nešić, the Report of the European Commission on BiH’s progress in the field of European integration.

The interlocutors agree on the need to further intensify cooperation and take the next steps to fulfill the EU agenda.

We remind you that this Report should be a key step for the opening of negotiations with the Union on March 21 at the European Council session.

Yesterday, the European Commission gave a recommendation for the opening of negotiations, and in the Report it states what the government has successfully implemented in the past period. Among them, two laws from Package 1+3, and the Agreement with Frontex.

The Commission noted that the Ministry of Justice is nearing the end of drafting the last condition from the aforementioned package, the Law on the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and they expect that it will be confirmed by the Council of Ministers already this month.
