Saudi Arabia is ready to help the Development of BiH’s Weapon Industry

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Elmedin Konakovic, met yesterday with the Governor of the General Agency for Arms Industry of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ahmad Al-Ohali.

The interlocutors expressed their satisfaction with the intensification of the dynamics of relations between BiH and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the tendency to strengthen the ties between the two countries and their institutions.

Minister Konakovic emphasized that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of BiH’s most important export partners when it comes to arms industry, but also that it plays a significant role as a country with which we develop intensive relations in the field of tourism. He also pointed out that BiH has space and capacity to improve cooperation, that BiH has knowledge and experts, technology can be better, but that it is planned to work on improving that segment as well.

The Governor of the General Agency for Weapons Industry of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ahmad Al-Ohali, emphasized that the Agency has a commission with a team of experts working on the improvement of production technologies and that this team is ready to work with the BiH side.

The interlocutors agreed that it is necessary to continue work on the improvement of economic and foreign trade cooperation, Klix.ba reports.
