Yesterday, the United States (U.S.) State Department issued an official warning to its citizens to be especially careful when traveling or staying in any country in the world.

This warning comes amid escalating tensions in various locations around the world, with the potential for terrorist attacks, demonstrations, or violent actions directed against U.S. citizens and interests.

The State Department strongly advises all U.S. citizens abroad to exercise extreme caution and follow security guidelines.

In the official statement of the State Department, it is emphasized that U.S. citizens should take special care of the safety of the locations they visit during their travels, especially during tourist activities.

“In order to provide additional security and easier communication in emergency situations abroad, we invite all citizens to sign up for the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP), through which they will receive important information and warnings,” the State Department stated.
