The best young BiH athlete Mesud Pezer won a second gold at the Balkan Junior Championships in Denizli, Turkey.
The 19 year old member of the Athletic Club Zenica, after he came in first in the shot put, setting the second junior score of the results this season in the world (20,40 m), celebrated yesterday in the discus throw with a result of 59,72 m.
Pezer broke new state junior records in both disciplines.
There was also a successful performance of young BiH athletes by disc thrower Emina Konjić, a 17 year old member of the Athletic Club ‘Doboj Istok’ from Klokotnica, who won the gold medal with a result of 46,01 m.
