The second Sarajevo Grand Prix, a project that aspires to promote bicycle riding, will be held again this year.
The project, organized by the BiH Bicycling Association, with support from the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), will sponsor the international bicycling race – Sarajevo Grand Prix – which will see participation from approximately 140 contestants from more than 20 countries.
In addition to the Grand Prix, which is already on the UCI’s calendar of events, there will also be a recreational race through Sarajevo and East Sarajevo. About 5,000 biking enthusiasts are expected and participants will attempt to break the Guinness Record for the longest single line of bicyclists (in motion), which was set in California back in 2010.
