On September 29, 2018, the beginning of autumn, Sarajevo will host competitors who will participate in another Skakavac Trail.
Competitors can apply for one of three races of different lengths (18, 32 and 43 kilometers), and each of them is graded with ITRA and UTMB qualifying points. Trails are passing through the most beautiful parts of the city and they offer a unique experience of all the beauty of Sarajevo. The race will pass through the Monument of Nature Skakavac, whose forests are hiding a beautiful 98-meter high waterfall.
Skakavac Trail is organized by the Mountain Association Skakavac from Sarajevo, whose main goal is to change the attitude towards the preservation of the environment through the offer of new attractive contents.
Race Skakavac Trail is aimed at promoting a healthy and active lifestyle, it helps the development of tourism, it also presents the natural and cultural-historical beauty of Sarajevo and BiH as well as the beauty of the Monument of Nature Skakavac as an attractive destination for active vacation to our citizens and tourists.
Besides beautiful trails, the competitors can also count on well-known hospitality of Bosnian people, great entertainment with the band Letu Stuke as well as gifts of their partners.
