The Secretary General of NATO Anders Fogh Rasmussen talked with the leaders of six political parties in B&H today in Sarajevo. Zlatko Lagumdžija, the President of SDP, Fahrudin Radončić, the President of SBB B&H, Dragan Čović from HDZ B&H, Milorad Dodik from SNSD, Mladen Bosić from SDS and the Deputy President of HDZ 1990 Martin Raguž attended this meeting. The political leaders of six political parties in B&H discussed with Rasmussen the issue of  the agreement on army property, the completion and  implementation of MAP  important for the implementation of the agreement from Banja Luka and the decision of the Constitutional Court of B&H concerning the status of state property in RS.

”After the meeting with political leaders of the six leading political parties in B&H, Secretary  General of NATO, Anders Fogh Rasmussen is leaving for Brussels encouraged with the agreement settled concerning the army property.”- said Zlatko Lagumdžija, the President of SDP B&H.

Lagumdžija also stated that Rasmussen is satisfied with the agreement that all political agreements made by the 9th of March 2012 will be implemented. Rasmussen is also satisfied about the fact that all political leaders are unanimous and ready to work on the completion of MAP which is essential for the implementation of the Banja Luka agreement.  Secretary General  Rasmussen also commented how the procedure for army and state property is the same, but that it would take more time to implement the agreement on army property.

” Next week we will discuss certain issues that need to be included into this procedure. We have a great obligation to fulfill by making a promise to the Secretary General.”- said Čović.

Rasmussen repeated today that the only condition for getting the Membership Action Plan is to solve the issue of army property. President of SNSD, Milorad Dodik said that the leaders have to make the MAP and expressed his hopes that the leaders of the political parties will succeed to work on it during the next week.

” I want to express publicly my approval of the political agreement made in Banja Luka last year and readiness to work on its implementation.”- said Dodik.
