Information on the activities undertaken by the competent security and other institutions, within which the security situation in the Canton of Sarajevo will be considered, is the only item on the agenda of the emergency session of the cantonal assembly that will be held today.
The Collegium of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly at the session held on March 19, after considering the latest events that disturbed the citizens for security reasons, scheduled an emergency session of the Assembly.
Previously, all line ministries in the Government and judicial institutions were in charge of providing complete information with relevant elements, indicators and comments related to the presence of robberies, the presence of drugs on the streets and schools, disruption of public order and security, violent behavior and other criminal acts.
The goal, as pointed out, is to avoid the manipulation of half-assed information, but a comprehensive overview of the state of security and possible challenges, risks and dangers that can potentially complicate the security situation in the area of the Canton.
The submitted information should also contain proposals for activities and measures to prevent and eliminate security threats or risks to public order and peace, which are within their jurisdiction.
