The Diaspora sent 3.79 Billion BAM in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) has released data on current transfers during the past year.

As they announced, the total current transfers in 2023 amounted to 5.26 billion BAM, which is 307 million BAM more compared to 2022.

Of the total amount of current transfers, 3.79 billion BAM pertains to cash remittances from abroad, i.e., personal transfers, which is 203 million BAM more compared to the previous year.

Other current transfers amount to 1.48 billion BAM, of which the majority, totaling 1.36 billion BAM, relates to pensions from abroad, as stated by the Central Bank.
