Selectors of B&H Karate Team Presented and Members of Team for EP Promoted

karateThe B&H Karate Association presented its new selectors for the B&H national team and promoted the members of the B&H team in the categories of kadets and juniors in the men’s and women’s team, who will lead the teams to the European Championship in Portugal.

Miroslav Klepić is the coach of the men’s senior team of B&H and Denis Muhović as senior coach for the women’s team. Arnel Kalušić is the coach of the men’s junior team, and Željko Topalović is the coach of the female’s junior team. In the cadet teams, the coach is Kenan Alikadić for the men’s team, and Željko Zombra for the women’s team. Bajro Durdžić will lead the boys’ team, and Boris Jeličić will lead the girls’ team.

There are selectors of the kate team. For men it is Nebojša Dević, and for women Una Selman-Zilić is the coach.

The best young karate athletes from B&H will take part in the European Championship (EP) in Lisbon from 5 to 10 February, and the selectors of the team were able to see the physical condition of the members of the team at an open training.

26 athletes will travel to Lisbon for the EP, of which 23 will participate in the kumite fights and three athletes in kata.
