Experienced US diplomat Michael Christian Polt called for a stronger US engagement because of the current situation in the Balkans, with a particular focus on Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Polt called on Twitter for full US involvement in the Balkans.

“We need full US involvement in the Western Balkan countries because the situation is critical. Particularly in Bosnia-Herzegovina, where Milorad Dodik calls for a dissolution,” Polt stated on Twitter.
