None of that will work for them. We are trying not to injure any of the random participants in front of the City Assembly with a mild reaction, said the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, in his address to the public regarding the opposition’s protest in Belgrade.

The seventh mass protest of the “Serbia coalition against violence” was held in front of the building of the Republic Election Commission (REC) in Belgrade, and the opposition was trying to enter the building of the Assembly of the City of Belgrade. Inside, the police are in riot gear, and the doors of the Assembly have been broken down.

In his address, Vučić pointed out that some showed their true colors at these protests and that violence was their only form of struggle.

“For days, we pointed to it, we warned about the foreign factor, thanks to those foreign services that made it clear what was being prepared,” said the President of Serbia.

He added that those who swore to fight against violence only confirmed once again that they are real thugs.

“The country is strong enough to defend Serbia, to defend Belgrade. Rioters and thugs will be arrested and we will always behave that way,” said Vučić.

He said that he will preserve freedom and peace in the country.

“We will preserve freedom, independence. We will defend our Serbia, just to preserve peace, the country is safe, we will preserve our house,” said Vučić.

During the seventh mass protest of the coalition of Serbia against violence in front of the building of the Republican Election Commission in Belgrade, the opposition tried to enter the building of the Belgrade City Assembly.

The doors of the Assembly have been broken down, and the police are inside in equipment for breaking up protests. The exterior camera on the building was broken, as well as several windows. Before that, tear gas was also thrown, and the demonstrators threw torches at the City Assembly and tried to throw them through the broken windows. One of the participants of the protest broke the glass on the door of the City Assembly with a stick.
