Drvar Municipal Council, at its extraordinary session on Friday, made the decision to declare Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic an honorary citizen of Drvar.

The award of the honorary citizen will be given to President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic because of his extraordinary contribution to the realization of projects that are significant for the municipality of Drvar, as stated in the explanatory statement of the decision.

Mayor Dusanka Runic said that Vucic had secured 300,000 euros in real estate infrastructure projects last year, such as road pavement, street lighting and vehicle procurement for the Health Center.

Acknowledgment to Vucic should be awarded on July 27, at the celebration of the Municipality Day, Fena reports.
