banja luka airportAccording to the Investment Program approved by the Assembly of Shareholders, to Banja Luka Airport was approved a loan of 7 million BAM at the Investment-Development Bank of the RS (IRB RS).

„Investments based on the investment program will be implemented during 2017,“ as confirmed by the director of the Airports of the RS – Banja Luka Airport, Miroslav Janjic.

This includes construction of modern cargo warehouses of 1,300 square meters, and it includes storage spaces intended for goods that require special sanitary and hygienic conditions and facilities for universal goods – those that do not require special treatment.

“We are opened to all kinds of cooperation including the low-cost airlines, although our aim is to develop a ‘traditional’ regular line of passenger traffic and cargo traffic,” said Janjic.

The International Airport of Banja Luka achieved 1,480 flights in 2016 and 21,316 passengers got transported.
