Officially, Mak Hasic is cured. This news was posted on social networks by his mother.

“I only cried when my sons were born, and I cried today. MRI and PET scan showed no active cancer cells. We will do control every three months for the next two years. We will be staying in Istanbul next month to do some more blood tests to evaluate when Mak can return to a normal life, school and socializing with friends.”

We hope and pray to God that cancer never returns and that this remains only one ugly memory behind us. Thank you all. We love you and send you kisses from warm Istanbul – Mak’s mother wrote.

A 7-year-old boy was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of Hodgkin’s lymphoma called Burkitt’s lymphoma, Vijesti.ba news portal reports.
