The representatives of the company “Shell” and the representatives of the Government of FB&H had a joint meeting, which is a step before the official arrival of this world company in B&H.
Jelka Milicevic, the Federal Minister of Finance, and Stipo Buljan, the Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining, and Industry of FB&H, left the meeting with positive impressions.
”This was one friendly meeting. Everything goes as planned, and the public will soon be informed about concrete things”, said Milicevic.
Milicevic did not want to speak about details because, according to her, she will go public after the details are agreed on with the representatives from Shell.
Buljan confirmed that an agreement exists and that concrete information will be made public soon after “Shell” manifests itself. He also did not hide that yesterday’s meeting was successful and that it somehow confirmed what was agreed earlier – that “Shell” will launch a business in B&H during this year.
Besides the representatives from these two ministries and “Shell”, the meeting was also attended by the former representatives of the Ministry of Energy, Mining, and Industry of FB&H, Buljan said.
The Institute for Geology of FB&H earlier confirmed that a contract on the concession for research and exploitation of oil and gas at the territory of the FB&H should be signed by the end of 2015, and that first explorations should begin early next year.
