Increase in Employment, Investment and Export Through Project of US and Swedish Government

posaoThe joint project of USAID and the Swedish International agency for Development and Cooperation (Sida) ‘Project to improve local development’ (GODL) will sign in Sarajevo today a Memorandum of understanding with 11 partner municipalities.

David Barth, Director of USAID in B&H, Pelle Persson, Swedish Embassy Advisor and mayors of municipalities of Goražde, Ilidža, Istočna Ilidža, Istočno Novo Sarajevo, Novi Grad, Novo Sarajevo, Pale, Stari Grad, Visoko, Vogošća, and Zenica will sign a Memorandum of understanding.

On this occasion, USAID, Swedish Embassy and the German Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH will formalize joint cooperation on activities directed towards sustainable economic development of local communities in B&H through activities of the Business Friendly (BFC) program of certification of cities and municipalities. On behalf of GIZ, it was announced the Director of the B&H office Brigitte Heuel-Rolf will make an address.
