Significant Decrease of Production of Forest Assortments in BiH

The total production of forest assortments in the Federation of BiH in the period January-April, compared to the same period in 2022, is lower by 143,000 m3 or 23.3 percent.

The production of assortments made of conifers is lower by 86,000 m3 (24.7 percent) compared to the same period last year, while the production of assortments of hardwoods is lower by 58,000 m3, or 21.5 percent, according to data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics.

The total sale of forest assortments in the period January-April 2023, compared to the same period in 2022, is lower by 125,000 m3 or 22.1 percent.

The sale of conifer assortments is lower by 62,000 m3 (19.7 percent) compared to the same period a year earlier, while the sale of hardwood assortments is lower by 63,000 m3 or 25.1 percent.
