What is the Number of Imported Cars from January 2018?

More than 72,000 vehicles were imported into Bosnia and Herzegovina until November 2018, of which 9,612 new and 62,831 used cars.

According to the Indirect Taxation Authority, imports are generally increasing every year, but in 2018, compared to 2016 and 2017, the number of imported new vehicles decreased.

In 2018, compared with the previous, the cars imported were of a less value, and the total value of imported cars was 836.2 million BAM, and this year, it was 795.6 million BAM.

Since data includes the period from January until November 2018, it can be expected that, by the end of the year, there will be more imported cars in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The average monthly import of vehicles in 2018 is 7.244. In 2010, 23,145 used cars were imported, in 2011 – 36,531, in 2012 – 43,372, in 2013 – 52,514, in 2014 – 61,433, in 2015 – 59,449, in 2016 – 56,873 and in 2017 – 60,079 used Cars.  In general, every year, more and more used cars have been imported, except for year 2016.

It is also interesting to note that since 2016, the number of imported new cars has decreased, so in 2016 the number of imported cars was 10,961, in 2017 – 10,897 and in 2018 – 9,612.
