Signing of Protocol on Border Point between BiH, Serbia and Montenegro

The Protocol on the Determination of the Border Point between Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and the Republic of Serbia will be signed today at 13:00 o’clock in Sarajevo.

The protocol will be signed by Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Adil Osmanovic, State Secretary ofthe Montenegrin Ministry of Interior Dragan Pejanovic and Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Veljko Odalovic.

With signing of the Protocols on the Determination of the Border Point between Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and the Republic of Serbia, a legal framework will be created for the completation of another necessary phase in the final demarcation of the state border between BiH, Serbia and Montenegro, all in accordance with the regulations of the internal legislation and three neighboring states, as well as in compliance with the rules of international law.

The signing of this protocol means a step forward for all signatories in the direction of full membership in the European Union.
