SIPA arrested Six People for War Crimes

sipaActing on the orders of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) arrested six persons accused for war crimes yesterday and early this morning in the municipalities Kostajnica and Novi Grad, as released from the SIPA.

Arrested were persons with initials M. B. (1958), N. B. (1950), N. R. (1965), D. B. (1963), R. B. (1960) and M. K. (1974), under suspicion that they committed a criminal offense under the Article 172 of the Criminal Code of BiH “crime against humanity”, in the municipality of Bosanski Novi in 1992 and 1993.

Arrested persons will be brought to the official premises of SIPA, where criminal investigation will be performed on them, after which they will be handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH on further proceedings.
