Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), as part of the “Virus” operation, conducted searches in the area of Bihać, Cazin, Bosanska Krupa and Mostar and arrested six people for drug trafficking, SIPA announced.
Searches are carried out according to the orders of the Cantonal Court in Bihać and the Municipal Court in Mostar and under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Una-Sana Canton of Bihać and the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, and in cooperation with the police officers of the MUP USK and the MUP HNK of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.
“So far, during the searches, about two kilograms of a white powdery substance that looks like cocaine, about five kilograms of green plant matter that looks like cannabis, 30 grams of a brown powdery thing that looks like heroin, three pistols with ammunition, mobile phones and other items that can serve as evidence in criminal proceedings have been discovered and temporarily confiscated.”
After the criminal processing of the interrogation, the arrested will be handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office.
