Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) today, upon the order of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, conducted searches of residential and auxiliary buildings and movable property at four locations in the areas of Posušje, Široki Brijeg and Pale.

“During the search, one rifle with 10 rounds of ammunition and other items that may serve as evidence in further proceedings were discovered and temporarily seized, SIPA announced.

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued the order based on a letter of request from the competent authority of the Republic of Croatia, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of organized crime, smuggling and aggravated theft.

During field work, cooperation was established with police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska and the West Herzegovina Canton.
